A fatty Epic Korean movie which stars Kang Hanna (Kim Ah Jung) who has a sweet nice vocal that won many people admiralty including her phone sex partners. However, being weighting at 200 pounds, she was only a backstage singer who sings for pop idol Ammy and because of her obesity she was overlooked by others and being make fun. Kang Hanna (Kim Ah Jung) secretly likes her manager Sang Jun (Ju Jin Mo) but she cannot bring those words to tell him. In an unexpected situation, she overheard the conversation between Ammy and Sang Jun which he said hurtful words to relieve Ammy’s hatred about Hanna. This has directly hurts her feelings and attempts commit suicide however she twirl the thinking after her phone sex partner who was a plastic surgeon called and Kang Hanna’s life begins to change after she requests a head to toe full body change.

This particular movie has the similarity of Sammi Cheng (In Love on a Diet) whereby she was stuffs with make up that made her look fat and ugly. However, Sammi Cheng in that movie becomes dramatically slim because of the effort she made while Kang Hanna (Kim Ah Jung) was rather a wholesome replica or so called monster in the movie.

Back to business, after the frantic change, she becomes a beauty in everybody hearts and she won her first die hard fan, a delivery man which rams into the lift barrel while admiring her good looks. Thereafter, the dramatic change has achieved a total new image whereby even her best friend does not recognize her. Therefore, she took the opportunity to get close with Sang Jun through a vocal audition and was eventually gain a contract to promote her to become a new star. Hanna did not dare to tell the Sang Jun her true identity as he does not like women who go for plastic surgery. However, her identity was revealed and she made the final confession in her concert of her identity where tears and joys come….

A 200 pound beauty is definitely a comedy cum touching movie which was stretched from the first hour to the last hour. This movie can over run Sammi Cheng (In Love on a Diet) as the storyline are much better. The ending is much satisfying whereas the touching and funny moments are brought together which patrons can feel the mix of joy and sadness. Lastly, look like the Koreans are really famous on their plastic surgery. Are you keen to have a whole body change?

The night never falls with Zouk in the town which enhance the nightlife up!

When Zouk opens the door in the year 1991, what are you doing? Primary, kindergarden, or you might just been born a few years back. Liquors, beers are pouring into the club which we are just drinking old school 10 cent soya milk.

The first ever time that I steps into a club was Zouk on Wednesday Night(Mambo Jumbo). Immediately I fall for the club, with the Retro theme. I can only say that the best day of the week would be Wednesday, Ladies Night, Mambo Jumbo. For some, Retro are back to the future for oldies but for me Retro is a flash back in life which we don't have the chance to be born earlier to enjoy the great music.

Ever since the club was on millions renovation, I have not step into the club. Until recently, an invitation to the club for the event of (4th We love House 2007)and I was like I hate House. I can only say that no other nights which could beat the Mambo Night.

The place was beautifully make up whereby some structures are still the same as before. With two bass blaster which almost blow me away. I hate House so we went to Phuture for some hip-hop music which might just satisfy us but was still a failure until 0300 hrs whereby great music starts. However, it stops at 0400 hrs. means? Go Home!

This trip was not a total disappointment as I managed to view the historic shoulder shake dancing of B. Yet was fun with these bums around. Mambo Jumbo next stop!

The night is still young, hit Zouk with a lit up in your night especially on Wed.

The year 2007; Sign of Global Warming!

What the hell is happening to the earth?

Pouring rain since last year converting asia to the place for swimming
which people do not need to pay to swim. Losing trillions of dollars in
the whole economy in asia and thus bringing thousands of people in an
emergency state in Malaysia, and others part of asia. Yet not asia alone.

In the other side of the world, the fiery sun shining with heatiness
which can hit until 45 degree celcuis in United States. Leaving at least
10 people dead because of heat strokes.While in the europe area, heavy
snow from the sky hit badly to Russia. The melting of ice bergs in North
Pole is that a signal to the us that another stage of global warming is
occuring?

Yet, the world is in such a condition, some others people are actually
trying to make things worst for us. Bombings, and Terrorism bringing
extra chilli into the burger making the global in a state of trauma and
losing their love ones.

Who is going to save the world?

Superman? Spiderman? or should we lets our powers combine and
welcome Planet Savior, Captain Planet to help us?

The answer is on us. Let's save the world to prevent more nice
food to be lost through global warming.

Secret Garden

Need a secret place to have the secret dinner with your secret girlfriends? The secret garden might be the right choice, hidden in the secretive location which you might never notice even right in front of you!

I have been there for 2 times which the first time was to have a drink with some of my army friends. Upon reaching there, the ambiance was quite different from what we expected. The outdoor area was quite limited but was well decorated with the relaxation ambiance with a old school wooden swing near the entrance. With such a nice place, the price was nice too just a little bit higher than the others restaurtant. If any of you are going there, try out the SPA teas if you want something unusual. I personally tried the RELAX tea which gives a aromatic smell and with a sweet bitter taste.

The last time I been there was celebrating my girlfriend's birthday which I promised but this time round is for dinner. We sat inside the restaurtant and realized the internal area was quite limited too which include a long benched table located at a outdoor enclosed area. Ordered their Italian inspired; Seafood Aglio Olio Spaghetti and Main course; Pan- Seared Cilantro Chicken with Mashed Potato. The special sauce for the Cilantro chicken was fantastic and the 2 big scallops of Aglio Olio was fresh and tasty. Yet to try others, if whoever are going, Let me know!

Actually, it was a nice place to hold a Registry Of Marriage in Secret Garden!

Movie by the beach

After movie under the stars, hereby it's brother; The movie by the beach!

Wriggling your little toes on the rough fine sand with a wide big screen, and a glance to the bright roundy moon surrounded by twinkle little stars. A place for a relaxation after a stressful day.

An event by Sentosa, Singapore's Island Resort, held normally a few months after a few months at the Palawan beach. Hit the beach pubs or food court for a drink or late dinner if you are early. Foods are not allowed in this event but nobody gives a damn. So Enjoy the movie to the max!

For me, the first time to this event is very enjoyable. With the cold welcome of artificial snow flakes at the entrance make the event more lively. We chose the front area with a gigantic screen right in front of us. There are 2 stalls selling popcorns and hot dogs with quite a huge demand of the consumers. After laying down with a mat on the sand, left me back aches because of uneven ground. However,if you are smart enough, gathering the sand and make a fuji mountain to lead against but we just found out in between the movie. Enjoying the movie with lots of tibits, effectiveness of the sound systems, and the great digtal images. But, wind are not on duty on that day! However, overall this event is great with family, friends, and love ones to enjoy with, especially with a long stressful day.

Hope you guys enjoy this event the next time round!

Victory 8! Searching around places for lunch or dinner with afforable price! Try the V8 Cafe located at the heart of Singapore, Bugis Junction, Level 3 whereby they serve a range of delicous main courses from pastas to steaks with movies showing at the cafe. With reasonable prices and services!

The V8 cafe open the day at 1200 hrs to 2130 hrs daily. Complimentary soup of the day will be served with any main course ordered! From 1200 hrs to 1500 hrs, they will complimentary another free drink from soft drinks to hot breverages of your choice with any main course ordered. The main courses range are from $7.00 to $13.00.

I went to this cafe with my classmates to have lunch. We make various different types of orders like Sirlon steak, creamy & baked pasta, rices, chicken chop & cutlet. I ordered my favourite chicken cutlet whereby I wanted to recommend this divin3. The fresh chicken thigh was so well- deep fried till golden crispy and you will not sense the aromatic until you put into your mouth. This dish consists of sliced apple & pineapple with salad cream on top of the lettuces, and onion rings. Dip the cutlet with "tata sauce" to enhance the taste! Thumb up!

The Sirlon Steak was well cooked at "medium well" with a sense of black pepper (Thumb up), the baked pasta was so cheesy and tasty (Thumb up). However, the seafood pineapple rice was out of place from the first sight as it look like a thick curry sauce and the taste was not that good with the hard grain of rice (Out).

The ambience is rather dull but with the movies to lighten up was much better and the services of the staffs are polite.

Try out at this V8 Cafe soon! With the reasonable price, services, ambience!

Cable Car Sky Dining

Bored with the evening fare, fancy of trying something different? Escape the city and have a nice evening dining above 70 metres up the sea with nice ambience and good services. Try Sky dining on the cable car located at Mount faber!

For those who are seeking something new, you might consider trying this style of dining with your love ones. I can't say that the experience was rather cheap or expensive at the price rate of $88++ to $158++ but for me, I think sometimes we have to pamper ourselves too. They do offer special event for birthday, marriage prosposal, valentine day, etc. Special requests like roses, cakes, surprises you can think of could be arrange by them.

I went with my beloved girlfriend of mine for a celebration of our 5 months anniverary. We have a great time through out the whole dining, the services and food are good. However, there are always flaws. Through out the sky dining, the interval stop at Harbour Front Station and Sentosa Station are rather humid until the cable car is out to the mid air. That ain't music on board! But, the dinner was quite nice especially the main course.

We started the dining at Mount Faber Station with our soup; Cream of Tomato Soup Served with Garlic Crostini after 1 round, we are finally serving our waited long main course; Pan-fried Fish Fillet in Cajun Spice, and Grilled Chicken with Prommery Mustard Jus. Finally, the 3rd round, we have our Apple Crumble served with quality tea before ended at Mount Faber Station again.

Once again, this is a don't mind trying experience, The main course for both the fish fillet and grilled chicken are very tender and well- cooked but the portions are rather small. The ambience are fantastic near the sentosa station, but without those haze it will be much better. Finally, the services of the staffs are fantastic too, polite, and helpful.

Catching a movie under the stars before?

This is an outdoor event brought to you by JDL Production. This is also once in a year event, normally open at mid september of the year. Starlight cinema is also going international, country like Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, etc.

Try this outdoor activites with your love ones or friends! This event is located at City hall, Padang field, bring your mat, dinner, junks and enjoy the great movies under the stars with a big screen. The price for a ticket cost $15.00. Quite expensive but you can enjoy 1 for 1 at certain nights like; campus and ladies nights.

I and my girlfriend planned this event since a few months back ago. We went to catch the movie, Dark Water, on Tuesday as it was campus night whereby we can get 1 for 1 ticket. Upon reaching there, we are shower with free gifts and free photo taking, the place was quite big as they was using half the padang field for the event. There are also special allocated area with inflatable bed and bean bags for special people. We have a great time out there as outside food and tibits are allowed, you can also enjoy the show in any watching position and you feel the whole field is yours.

For those who wish to catch this event, please be early next year! Bring a jacket along as night fall, you will feel the chill.
